For this build, I had one rule - all structural components of this house had to be original pallets. I could cut them in half, if necessary, but I couldn't pull pallets apart and put them back together. The foundation for this design was four pallets. You can see how I started to pull everything together. I wish I had done a better job of documenting the progress of the build, but I'll try to give you an idea of what the finished product looked like in the end.
In these next pics, the base is built and the second story is being constructed. You can see the beginnings of the dormer windows.

The dormer roofs are put in place and the rest of the roof is starting to come together. Also, I decided to add a wrap-around porch to the design.

You can see the wrap-around porch and also the shingles for the roof. I took pallets apart and cut the pieces in various lengths to get a shingled roof look. Yes, it was unbelievably time consuming, but totally worth it. I'm sure there's a picture of the finished product around somewhere. we just need to find it.

This next pic is the closest one I could find of the finished project. When it was finished, the entire roof was shingled with pallet pieces, a window and window flower box was installed in the right dormer window, a slide was installed out of the left dormer window section, and a fence with support post was installed around the wrap-around porch sections. It was pretty cool.
